Dr. Ariel operates a paperless practice and currently provides exclusively telehealth services to promote access and convenience.

Individual Therapy


Dr. Ariel provides psychotherapy services for adolescents and adults across the lifespan (ages 12 and up) for concerns including:

+ Trauma & Adjustment Issues
+ Relationship & Communication Problems
+ Difficult Transitions & Stage of Life Problems
+ Anxiety
+ Depression
+ Chronic Health Concerns

She utilizes a results-oriented and strengths-based approach to therapy that focuses on empowering clients to improve their quality of life.

Comprehensive Assessments


Prior to their appointment, clients will be required to complete an electronic intake packet consisting of several history and screening forms, as well as Speak Life Psychotherapy policies and procedures.

During the assessment, Dr. Ariel will conduct a comprehensive interview to gather additional psychosocial history, evaluate the primary concerns, and collaborate with clients to produce a more holistic understanding of current function and quality of life.

Dr. Ariel will then provide real-time feedback regarding the results of this psychological assessment, including any possible diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and appropriate referrals.

***Please Note: This assessment does not include psychoeducational testing to diagnose learning or developmental concerns, but Dr. Ariel is happy to provide referrals.

Evidence-based.


Dr. Ariel is highly competent in the use of several effective and evidence-based therapies. Her approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). These interventions focus on identifying personal values, increasing present-moment awareness, and learning practical tools for resolving conflicts, improving function, and decreasing the frequency and intensity of overall distress.


Trauma-informed.


Time does not heal all wounds. Dr. Ariel utilizes a structured approach to trauma-focused therapy to support processing events in a healthy way and safely experiencing and working through the associated distress. She provides both Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Our minds and our bodies are inherently connected such that what impacts one always impact the other. Dr. Ariel utilizes her advanced training in health psychology to incorporate the power of the mind-body connection into practice. This approach is particularly effective for pain management, reducing anxiety and panic attacks, improving sleep, and managing chronic and acute physical health concerns.
